When Jill's mom comes over with her cruel pet parrot Nathan, a murder mystery takes place when it looks like it Nathan was killed.
Tropes:
- Darker and Edgier: Not really saying much, but the episode has a rather dark atmosphere to it as it plays out like a murder mystery and sort of delves into abusive relationships.
- Faking the Dead: Nathan faked being killed just to antagonize the others and watch them turn on each other.
- For the Evulz: Nathan instigated the episodes events just for the sake of being a jerk.
- Lights Out Somebody Dies: The lights go out, and when they turn back on, Nathan's cage is on the floor and nothing is left of him but a few feathers.
- Locked in a Room: A fallen branch blocks the pet door, trapping the pets inside. Now they have to hide when Jill and her mother arrive so as not to reveal Honey's therapy group.
- Series Continuity Error: Tabitha has her collar in the episode, despite still living at The Gray One's place. It's possible Raccoon gave it back to her and she just decided to wear it because she wants to.
- Shut Up, Hannibal!: Honey's friends defend her against Nathan and his cruelty.
- The Sociopath: Nathan is one as he enjoys ruthlessly mocking the group and even faked his death just to see the group turn on each other.
- Whodunit: Nathan disappears during a blackout and all the other pets try to figure out what happened.
