- Courtroom Episode: The second half of this episode focuses on Arthur Krock Sr. trying to prove to his son and the court that he is not incompetent.
- Freudian Excuse: Arthur Krock Jr. at first seems to be a greedy Jerkass who wants to take control of his father's estate. However, he eventually reveals to his father that his anger and hatred is due to the neglect he and the rest of the family received from him before his mental breakdown. According to Jr, Arthur Sr. had paid for his schools but never showed up for him and it's heavily implied that he was very distant to him growing up.
- This line pretty much sums it up:
Arthur Jr: I wanted a father. All I got was the promise of an empire that would one day be mine.- The reason for Arthur Sr.'s breakdown: when he first married, a built a castle for him and his wife to live Happily Ever After in, only for his work to completely take over life. Before he knew it, years had passed and his wife was gone.
- Meaningful Name: In addition to the "assignment" being a senile old man who believes that he is King Arthur, several characters have names that are connected to the tale, which causes Arthur Sr. to believes that they are the original characters.
- Arthur's maid, Mrs. Buttram's first name is Marian, so he calls her Maid Marian.
- Gwen's full name is revealed to be Guinevere, as in the wife and queen of King Arthur.
