Chinese title: "巧克力限令" ("Qiǎokèlì xiànlìng")
English title: "A Ban on Chocolate"
Original airdate: January 16th, 2014

Lele develops an addiction to chocolate and must endure a restriction on the candy.

This episode contains the following tropes:

  • Alien Catnip: It's explained that chocolate is a dangerous substance to Lele's species of dog alien since it's addictive to them.
  • Artistic License – Animal Care: Chocolate being poisonous to real-life dogs is lampshaded by Professor Limen, who warns viewers of this fact. The fact that they're merely addictive to the dogs here can be justified by the fact that they're aliens with different biology from actual dogs.
  • Descent into Addiction: Lele's obsession with chocolate reaches a point where he's willing to illegally buy a briefcase of it from Big M. to fuel his addiction.
  • Fourth Wall Psych: Professor Limen seemingly tells the viewers about the effects of chocolate on real-life dogs, only for the shot to change and reveal that he's just speaking into a camera.
  • G-Rated Drug: Chocolate is one to the dog aliens. We see the nasty effects it has on them when Lele can't help but be lured by it.
  • Impairment Shot: There is a brief shot of the city in Lele's point of view, showing that the chocolate he's been consuming has warped his vision to the point of things looking wavy to him.
  • Instant Taste Addiction: Happy S. accidentally lets some chocolate fall into Lele's mouth, and he's immediately hooked on it afterwards.
