During a battle against Record Scratch, Hamster is lost in the scuffle after being hit by a flying truck, suffering from amnesia in the process. He is taken care of by a boy named Billy, as the two are developing a bond, while Kevin and a distraught Gretel are searching all over town for Hamster.
Tropes:
- Call-Back: The tree Billy wants to climb is Oakey, Hamster and Gretel's favorite tree from "Oakey Dokey", which triggers Hamster's memory.
- The Chessmaster: The Imposter has orchestrated the whole thing from the beginning. He had disguised himself as Record Scratch and intentionally used her sound-based machinery to hurl a truck in Hamster and Gretel's direction, knowing that Hamster would sacrifice himself, and knowing that Hamster would get amnesia from the way the truck hit his cranium. He then disguised himself as Billy and brought him home, and after gaining his trust, he used Hamster's superpowers in order to take a selfie with a specific high angle in order to locate a hidden fence of a secret government compartment, then used Hamster's resistance to electricity to disable said fence in order to steal an experimental flying tank prototype to terrorize the city with.
- Harmless Electrocution: Hamster's powers allow him to withstand the high voltage from an electrified fence. It’s also implied to restore his memory.
- Hidden Depths: Kevin and Gretel discover that Hamster plays music at a jazz club called Riff Van Winkle's, and also makes paintings that are being exposed at Gallery Aubergine in his own section.
- Make Some Noise: Record Scratch uses sound and music to attack her opponents.
- Master of Disguise: The Imposter's gimmick. He's able to disguise himself as a little boy and another supervillain with realistic bodysuits.
- The Reveal: "Billy" turns out to be a disguise by a villain named The Imposter. Even Hamster is in wide-eyed shock. In fact, everything in this episode was set in motion by him, as detailed above.
