In their debut episode, Petunia quickly befriends Lammy, a purple lamb, who seems to own a pickle for a doll. Little does Petunia know that the doll is more than meets the eye.
"A Bit of a Pickle" contains the following
- Accidental Murder: Lammy keeps accidentally helping Mr. Pickels kill people. Or not...
- Bittersweet Ending: Lammy has lost her new friend, is framed by Mr. Pickels, and is put into prison. All so Mr. Pickels can keep Lammy to himself. But at least Lammy is happy to be with Mr. Pickels again, despite everything that he did.
- Break the Cutie: As if losing her new friend wasn't enough, poor Lammy ends up getting framed by Mr. Pickels for his murders, gets tasered in the eye and sent to prison.
- The Cameo: Truffles can be seen behind a tree.
- Cassandra Truth: No one believes Lammy when she says that Mr. Pickels is the one that keeps killing everyone. Or not...
- Debut Queue: Lammy and Mr. Pickels' first episode / appearance in the series.
- Easily Forgiven: Lammy is happy to see Mr. Pickles again despite framing her for murder.
- Eat the Camera: Happens when Flaky, in an electric scooter, sees Mr. Pickles in Handy's hijacked truck chasing her, she speeds off screaming as her mouth engulfs the entire screen.
- Establishing Character Moment: From the first few minutes into the episode, we see just how close Lammy and Mr. Pickels are... and in Mr. Pickels' case, he's so close to Lammy that he doesn't want anyone else getting close to her, even if he has to resort to murder to keep her to himself.

- Imaginary Friend / Not-So-Imaginary Friend: It's debatable whether or not Mr. Pickels is real.
