Synopsis:

"The Milano crashes on Earth in a swamp. While Rocket Raccoon and Groot work on fixing the Milano, Star-Lord, Gamora, and Drax the Destroyer head out to obtain the parts that Rocket Raccoon needs to fix the ship. On Star-Lord's part, he goes to obtain a fusion reactor that is in the possession of MODOK and A.I.M., after switching jobs with Drax because of Rocket's pranks in the past."

Tropes featured in the episode:

• Continuity Nod: Rocket asks Star-Lord to get a huge cuddly toy. Remembering the previous times Rocket has made Star-Lord get something which turns out to be completely unnecessary for the plan, Star-Lord makes Drax get the cuddly toy and gets what Rocket was going to ask Drax to get, the fusion reactor.
• Let's Split Up, Gang!: Whilst Rocket and Groot stay to fix the Milano, the others are sent out to obtain the parts.
• Misguided Missile: MODOK launches a missile, with the fusion reactor (and Star-Lord) attached to it, in order to take over Earth. Star-Lord manages to retrieve the fusion reactor, which causes the missile to fall back to Earth - on top of MODOK's lair.
