The Recap Page for the Nelvana animated series Grossology. The Animated Adaptation of a series of kids' non-fiction books, the show follows teenage siblings Abby and Ty Archer, agents for the Bureau of Grossology who face villains themed around gross science. Currently a work in progress.

    Season 1 
  1. Queen for a Day - Abby and Ty battle an army of giant mutant termites under the command of the buggy supervillain Insectiva and must find a way to wrest them from her control before the bugs ruin their school's dance.
  2. The Slim Slime Man - Abby and Ty face off against the monstrous Slim Slime Man, a former sewage worker who has merged with a huge slime mold to become a monster intent on smothering the city in endless slime.
  3. Fartzilla - Abby and Ty trace a strange farting epidemic to the work of Fartor, a grotesque evil genius using the farts to power a huge robot for revenge on his brother after years of tormenting him with dutch ovens.
  4. The Perfect Stink - Abby and Ty track down a series of disgusting thefts to a Sloppy Joe, an unbelievably unhygienic criminal intent on building a stink bomb of incredible power from the world's vilest smells.
  5. This Scab's For You - Abby and Ty battle the Scab Fairy, a former beauty queen who has now become a criminal using a weapon that allows her to steal people's scabs so that she can inflict them on others.
  6. When Ya Gotta Go - Abby and Ty face off against ex-Grossologist turned zit-headed evildoer Lance Boil, who has created an infrasound ray gun that causes instant diarrhea in order to prevent anyone from stopping his crimes.
  7. Club Parasites - An outbreak of head lice at Abby and Ty's school turns out to be the work of Insectiva, who has created a mutant strain of mind-controlling parasites to turn all the school's students into her pawns.
  8. Go Fish - Abby and Ty discover a series of attacks on fish processing plants to not be the work of any human criminals, but rather a pack of gigantic mutated hagfish that threaten to consume all the food in the city.
  9. It's Gotta Be the Shoes - Abby and Ty meet world-famous basketball star Keith Van Kobbler, who is promoting his new brand of running shoes in order to secretly cause a plague-like epidemic of athlete's foot.
  10. Owl Most Foul - Abby and Ty's school hires a new janitor named Mr. Fowler to deal with the huge flocks of pigeons making a mess on the school's roof when an enormous owl suddenly appears and begins terrorizing both the students and the birds.
  11. Yack Attack - Sloppy Joe taints the city's water system with his own disgustingness, causing a huge epidemic of uncontrollable vomiting among the townspeople, and Abby ends up becoming one of the victims.
  12. The Greatest Race Ever Crawled - Ty designs a new vehicle for the Bureau of Grossology built with mobile abilities modelled after those of insects, but is goaded by Insectiva into racing it against her bugs.
  13. Kid Rot - Abby and Ty befriend a new kid at their school named Chester, who repels everyone else with his rotten smell, which is caused by his power to cause anything he touches to decay - and they offer to cure him of his power.
  14. The Insider - Lance Boil shrinks himself down to be ingested by Ty so that he may attack his cerebral cortex and turn him into a vegetable, leaving only Abby able to stop the ex-Grossologist as her brother participates in a battlebot competition.
  15. All Together Now - Insectiva, Sloppy Joe, and Lance Boil join forces to take down the Bureau of Grossology once and for all by inflicting every member with a triple dose of halitosis, acne, and horsefly swarms.
  16. Oldie But a Goodie - Abby is tricked by Lance Boil into activating a device that causes her to age at 6000 times the normal rate, leaving Ty to stop Lance before he uses his new weapon on the rest of the city.
  17. Survival of the Grossest - Ty competes in the school science fair against a new kid named Patrick and decides to outdo him by enhancing the fruit flies in his genetics project with the power of hyper-evolution.
  18. School's Grossed Out for Summer - Abby and Ty get stuck in their school in summer, and discover that an insane proctologist named Dr. Cornelius Colon is using the abandoned hallways to develop a gigantic living intestine to consume the world.
  19. Vein Drain - On Halloween night, Abby and Ty follow a series of alleged vampire attacks and discover them to the work of a massive swarm of medicinal leeches that have escaped the hospital and are now rampaging through the city sewers.
  20. Silent but Deadly, Part 1 - Fartor returns with a new flatulent scheme in mind, but in order to carry it out, he kidnaps Ty and subjects him to the same processes that turned him into the gassy supervillain he is today.
  21. Silent but Deadly, Part 2 - Fartor and his new henchman Far-Ty plot to drill up a massive underground gas reservoir and use it to remake Earth's atmosphere, leaving Abby in a race against time to save her brother and the world.
  22. The King of Rottingham Forest - When huge swathes of forest begin dying off without explanation, Abby and Ty discover that Chester has returned and that his powers of decay have now spiraled completely out of control.
  23. Lights Out - Abby and Ty battle a new nocturnal evildoer named Darko Crevasse, who has plunged the entire city into complete darkness so that his armies of bats and other nocturnal animals may reign supreme.
  24. Frankenbooger - Abby and Ty discover that Sloppy Joe has been on a snot-stealing spree to create a friend for himself in the form of a humanoid booger monster named Frankenbooger, which inevitably goes on a rampage.
  25. A New Leaf - Abby must team up with Insectiva to stop a new villain named Sarah Senia, who is building up an army of giant mutant carnivorous plants as part of a scheme to uplift them from mere insect-eaters to consumers of larger creatures, like humans.
  26. Heave It or Leave It - Abby and Ty get the chance to participate on the grossout game show, You Heave, You Leave, but little do they know that this exciting opportunity to be on their all-time favorite TV show is secretly a trap from Lance Boil.

    Season 2 
  1. Sinister Rivalry - Abby and Ty discover a series of giant spider attacks at a power plant to not be the work of Insectiva, but her twin sister and hated rival Arachnidia, and soon end up caught in an intense bug war between the two sinister sisters.
  2. Flushed Away - When sewer gators suddenly start appearing in toilets and attacking people, Abby and Ty suspect it to be the work of a salesman named T.P. Skinner, who is using the crisis to sell an anti-reptile protection system called the Gator-Guard 5000.
  3. Vertigo A Go-Go - Lance Boil infects Abby's ears with nanobots that allow him to give her intense vertigo as he pleases, and the only one able to stop Lance is Ty, who has been building up earwax in his ears to spite his sister's bossiness.
  4. Sloppy Joe to Go - Sloppy Joe opens up a fast food restaurant that serves extremely generous portions, which Abby and Ty soon discover to be part of a plot to flood the city in greasy food waste and garbage.
  5. Hairless Whispers - Abby and Ty battle a disgruntled former hair stylist turned supervillain named Frederick Follicle, who is using his superpowered hair and a special satellite to cause a city-wide epidemic of hairlessness.
  6. Stinko - A heat wave strikes the city, and Sloppy Joe makes things worse for everyone stealing all the deodorant and clogging the local water reservoir with his own armpit hair to prevent anybody from showering.
  7. Mold Monster - Roger Pinkeye, a new and appropriately named student at Abby and Ty's school, creates a mutant black mold monster as part of a scheme to expose the two siblings as Grossology agents to the world.
  8. When Allergies Attack - Lance Boil develops a ray gun that inflicts intense allergies on anyone it hits, using it to break the Bureau of Grossology's members apart and ruin Abby and Ty's daily lives.
  9. Pussed Off - When Abby and Ty's school is struck by a massive pimple epidemic, the two siblings are forced to team up with Lance Boil to track down the culprit, but Lance uses the opportunity to engineer his own evil scheme.
  10. Ask the Dust Mites - Abby and Ty track down a pack of gigantic mutated house dust mites that are rampaging through the city, which ends up bringing them back into contact with Arachnidia, who seeks to help them get rid of the mites.
  11. Turd Wars - Abby and Ty discover that a series of thefts involving manure and poop are part of a scheme by Sloppy Joe and Insectiva to use giant mutant dung beetles to gather up massive amounts of poop to smother the city in.
  12. Spa Insectiva - Abby and her mother receive an exclusive invite to a new spa that uses insect-based treatments, and Abby is surprised to learn that the new place is run by none other than Insectiva!
  13. Ain't Over Till the Fat Man Sings - Abby and Ty track down a series of thefts to a disgraced opera performer named Basso Profundo, who now channels his throat to produce super-destructive burps.
  14. Candy Isn't Dandy - A candy entrepreneur named Gary Gumdrop arrives in town with a new brand of sweets that instantly become a hit, but while Ty is addicted to them, Abby suspects Gary has a much more villainous motive in mind.
  15. Swamp Gas - When mysterious balls of glowing light begin wreaking havoc on the city's power, everyone begins panicking about alien invasion, except Abby and Ty, who are fairly certain it's just swamp gas... at least until a giant one-eyed mechanical monster attacks them in the swamp!
  16. Squirm - While Abby and Ty's parents decide to take the kids on some bonding activities, with Abby doing extreme sports with mom and Ty having to go fishing with dad, where he ends up encountering giant mutant earthworms.
  17. Let Them Eat Fruitcake - Abby and Ty are surprised to discover Sloppy Joe working as a mall Santa for Christmas and soon learn that it's in fact part of a plot by Lance Boil to gift everybody in the city with bacteria-ridden fruitcakes for the holidays.
  18. New Recruits - While working to foil Lance Boil's latest scheme, Abby recounts to Ty the story of how they were originally hired by the Bureau of Grossology and of their very first mission, which was against Lance Boil.
  19. Pinkeye & the Brain - Roger Pinkeye returns and this time, he kidnaps Lance Boil, leaving Abby and Ty in a race against time to track him down and prevent Lance from revealing all of their Grossologist secrets to Roger.
  20. Pinkeye's Revenge, Part 1 - Following the events of the previous episode, Roger Pinkeye and Lance Boil team up to take down the Department of Grossology, but both villains also have ambitions of their own.
  21. Pinkeye's Revenge, Part 2 - Using an evil clone of Abby, Roger Pinkeye and Lance Boil successfully infiltrate the Bureau of Grossology, capturing the real Abby and managing to get Ty kicked off the team.
  22. Fangs A Lot - A new pet craze strikes the city when a herpetologist named Professor Skinner begins selling cute, genetically modified snakes called Slitherbuddies, but unfortunately, things go horribly wrong when all the snakes start shedding their skins.
  23. Hirsute Yourself - Frederick Follicle comes back for another round, inflicting the entire city with an epidemic of out-of-control hair growth that allows him to command not just his own hair, but everybody else's!
  24. Pucker Up - Abby and Ty are faced with separate efforts by Insectiva and Sloppy Joe to run Valentine's Day for everybody else, but in order to stop them, they are going to have to try something a little different than usual...
  25. The Fart Side of the Moon - Fartor returns once again, this time forcing Abby and Ty to head out into space, where their gassiest enemy is planning on extracting gasses from a comet in order to convert Earth's atmosphere into a gigantic fart cloud.
  26. Night of the Living Roadkill - Darko Crevasse returns on Halloween, and this time he's brought with him an army on undead animal roadkill, and of course, the only ones able to stop him are Abby and Ty.
