When they find out that John Silver has returned, the group and Jim Hawkins visit Treasure Island and pursue Silver's whereabouts. However, a Beanstalk appears in front of the party. The party and Silver climb back down to earth, and Jim shows up demanding an explanation from Silver. After noticing Jim's serious attitude, Silver stops teasing him and speaks his mind sincerely: Captain Flint obtained the Magic Beans somewhere, and he gave them to Silver as a parting gift. Since it is determined by his Book of Fate that he cannot get the treasure, Silver wants to get glory by witnessing something that is not written in his book, by climbing to the beanstalk's top.
