Persona 5: Thievery In Blue

After changing Madarame's heart, the Phantom Thieves decide to go to Mementos as they wait for their next target. Once there, they find a suspicious crack in the wall, taking them to a compltely different world where the skies are filled with floating islands.

As the crew of the Grandcypher makes a stop for supplies, they find four teenagers and a talking cat arguing against a ruffian and immediately breaks up the fight to assess the peculiar group. As the crew and the Phantom Thieves mingle with each other, Vyrn is shaken by Morgana's words, causing him to be vulnerable to a primal beast.


Tropes

  • Assimilation Plot: Dantalion absorbs Vyrn with the intention of using the latter's powers to dominate the Sky Realm.
  • Batman Gambit: Part of the plan to separate Vyrn and Dantalion is to get the Phantom Thieves to send out the calling card and provoke the latter into defending himself.
  • Crossover: With Persona 5.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: After meeting up with the Phantom Thieves, Vyrn spends much of his time not wanting to know his past and flees from the crew, much to their worries.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: While Morgana and Vyrn bond over being mascots with amnesia, the latter freaks out over the former's comments on potentially being a monster, creating a Moment of Weakness for Vyrn to get possessed and assimilated by Dantalion.
