Trevor recognizes a man seeking to purchase the timepiece found on Elias's corpse as Ari, one of his friends and fellow business executives. He then recounts to Sam and the other ghosts the story of his death and how he lost his pants. When Pinkus, a co-worker, was promoted to Trevor's group at their company, they celebrated with a party at Woodstone Manor, as David, another friend of Trevor's, was the nephew of the late Sophie Woodstone.
Tropes:
- Bland-Name Product: Chekhov Chill is a thinly disguised Smirnoff Ice, but the name also lampshades that it functions as the episode's Chekhov's Gun.
- The Bro Code: Discussed by Trevor and his coworkers. After Sasappis reveals that the others hid his body in the lake instead of calling the police, Trevor concedes that they were not his true bros.
- Chekhov's Gun: Lampshaded with the Chekhov Chill vodka used as part of a hazing ritual by Trevor's friends. Sam hides a note from Trevor with the bottle in the secret stash for Ari to find. The man is forced to buy Sam and Jay's silence by offering double the watch's value and chugging the Chill.
- Dramatic Gasp: Once again, Isaac is the only one to gasp at a revelation. He gasps twice in a row to try and get the others to join in.Isaac: Oh, come on, that was gasp worthy! There's something wrong with you people.
- Pet the Dog: The real reason Trevor lost his pants is that he gave them to Pinkus so he wouldn't have to run naked out in the cold for his "fun run".
- Secret Secret-Keeper: Sasappis was the only one of the ghosts to know the truth about Trevor and kept it to himself to spare his feelings.
- Too Dumb to Live: During "Pill Roulette", Trevor was trying to find a green pill ("green means money") but couldn't, so he decides to mix a yellow one with a blue one, thinking that mixing yellow and blue would make green. A couple hours later, he dies.
- Turn of the Millennium: Specifically, November 2000, where Trevor and his buddies went to party at Woodstone Manor and the night that Trevor passed away.
- Wham Episode: It's finally revealed how and why Trevor died without his pants.
