** Broadway was illiterate in [[Recap/GargoylesS2ALighthouseInTheSeaOfTime "A Lighthouse in the Sea of Time"]], which episode ended with [[ReadingIsCoolAesop him deciding he wants to learn to read]]. Now he is shown to be knowledgeable enough to read and understand Mace Malone's note to the Dracons (though he has some understandable difficulty in pronouncing the word "right").

Skunk Stripe is no longer a trope. Zero Context Examples and examples that do fit existing tropes will be deleted.

* LockedIntoStrangeness: Tony Dracon has a SkunkStripe in his hair after his first appearance in [[Recap/GargoylesS1DeadlyForce "Deadly Force"]]; WordOfGod says that the in-universe rationale for this is because Dracon's first encounter with the gargoyles scared him so badly.

are actually marbles and a mocking note.
* NoirEpisode: "The Silver Falcon" is one of two of these in the series.series because it focuses on detective stuff. We see Broadway watching a noir-style movie and acting out the role. He accompanies Elisa, who insists she doesn't need a partner, on her investigation into the disappearance of fellow detective Matt Bluestone, and follows the trail of a jewel heist.

Matt disappears following a lead to the Illuminati. Elisa and Broadway, in traditional noir fashion, investigate his case in order to find him in the clutches of Dracon and his grandfather Dominick, a suspected member of the Illuminati. It turns out, Dominick had been double-crossed by his old partner in crime, Mace Malone, who had disappeared with uncut jewels they stole back in the 20s; unfortunately, Mace left behind a wild goose chase.

Tony Dracon returns in the episode [[Recap/GargoylesS2Protection "Protection"]]
