Who is Real? The Two Honokas (or A Double Dose of Smart) is the 20th episode of Futari wa Pretty Cure.
Poisony disguises herself as Honoka to trick Nagisa.
Tropes:
- Call-Back: Back in Episode 8, Nagisa wrote in the secret Pretty Cure notebook that her socks stink. Here, Honoka uses that knowledge to prove that she's the real one.
- Character Death: Poisony is defeated and killed off via the Marble Screw, and the Cures retrieve her Prism Stone.
- Does Not Like Spam: One thing Poisony learns about Nagisa to pull off her Honoka disguise is that she dislikes onions.
- Spot the Imposter: When confronted by the two Honokas, Nagisa keeps asking them questions to determine which is which. Eventually, she finds the real one when she mentions her socks; the real Honoka knows that Nagisa complains about her socks stinking.
- The Reveal: Nagisa's birthday is October 10th.
- Skyward Scream: After learning of his sister's defeat at the hands of the Cures, Kiriya unleashes an angry, mournful screech at the sky.
- Wham Episode: Poisony is killed and the Cures get her Prism Stone, but Kiriya is distraught over the death of his sister.
