Serious Trouble! A Desperate Pisard (or Is It Over Yet?) is the fifth episode of Futari wa Pretty Cure.
Pisard tries desperately to put an end to the Cures.
Tropes:
- Black Bead Eyes: Nagisa and Honoka get these when some older guys try to get them to come with them. Likewise, the men get these right back when Honoka puts them in their place.
- Bowdlerise: The English dub softens Mepple's "domineering husband" line to him saying he's a prince in training for when he marries Mipple.
- Cultural Translation: The takoyaki from Akane's food stand is changed to donuts in the English dub.
- He-Man Woman Hater: Mepple shows several misogynistic traits in this episode, such as saying he's an aspiring domineering husband to Mipple.
- Questioning Title?: The English title, "Is It Over Yet?".
- Wham Episode: Pisard is defeated for real, and the Cures take his Prism Stone.
- Wide Eyes and Shrunken Irises: A flashback from the previous episode depicts a man having these when Mipple's Card Commune hits him in the head.
