"The Legend of Ranger Joe" is an episode of the fifth season of Full House.
When the host of Ranger Roy retires, Joey auditions to fill in for him. Meanwhile, Jesse's real name is revealed and Michelle tries tap dancing.
Tropes:
- Embarrassing First Name: Hermes was teased so much as a kid because of his name that he begged his mother to change it to "Jesse".
- Given Name Reveal: It turns out Jesse's real name is... Hermes!
- Hates Being Touched: Ranger Roy actually hyperventilates when anyone hugs him. When Joey hugs him, he ends up heaving heavily into a paper bag.
- Kubrick Stare: Jesse glares at D.J. and Rebecca this way twice — first after Michelle calls Jesse "Uncle Hermes", which prompts him to turn around slowly and stare upwards at them with a grimace (and he doesn't let up until D.J. reveals that Jesse's mother told her), and again when they start laughing.
