Frasier learns that comely neighbor Regan Shaw has recently become available again, but is reluctant to approach her since previous encounters with her resulted in him humiliating himself.
Tropes:
- Chained Heat: Frasier and Officer Nasty end up handcuffed together using the set attached to her cop costume. It's only then that she reveals she doesn't have a key for them since they're just supposed to be decorative.
- Hidden Depths: Frasier agrees to go on a date with Dinah, a.k.a. Officer Nasty, and discovers she's stripping to pay for college, speaks several languages and is also taking care of her mother. He takes it as a lesson in not judging people by their looks.
- Know When to Fold 'Em: After yet another humiliation in front of Regan, Frasier bluntly tells her that while he is interested in her, the universe doesn't seem to want them to be together so he's just giving up.
- Stag Party: When Donny's friend bails on arranging one Frasier offers to take over. Daphne is happy with this, assuming that the refined Frasier won't arrange the traditional rowdy bachelor party. Instead Frasier sets out to prove he can arrange such a party.
- Stripper/Cop Confusion: Martin arranges for "Officer Nasty" to surprise Frasier as part of her audition for Donny's party. When Daphne shows up they try to pass her off as a genuine cop who's interviewing to take over as housekeeper.
- Weight Woe: Apparently Maris has gained an enormous amount of weight since Niles started dating Mel.
- You Must Be Cold: Frasier and Officer Nasty have to hide in the powder room so Mel, Daphne and Maris won't see her. Officer Nasty quickly gets cold as she's only wearing her costume lingerie. Frasier offers her his jacket, and has to awkwardly turn it inside out due to them still being handcuffed together.
