    First Wedding: Jena

Jena has only been to three weddings in her life, so planning was a bit interesting. The guest brides did like her decor, but Kristin didn't see anything unique, and Anastasia didn't like seeing tables at the ceremony, as it would make them anticipate the cocktail hour and reception over the ceremony. They did appreciate that Jena and her groom had traditional vows as well as their own written vows. Kristin and Anastasia seemed especially critical of Jena's wedding, as the three of them all had winter-themed weddings. Amber didn't appreciate that the food at cocktail hour was pizza.

At the reception, they brides found the venue and decor fairly generic overall. They did like the white branch centerpieces, though. During Jena's first dance with her husband, there was fake snow from a machine, which Kristin found juvenile. They found the food to be standard. Dessert was a big spectacle as they presented the Viennese hour. Cinnamon was poured into fire, which spread the scent all over the ballroom. After that, the dance floor got packed.

    Second Wedding: Kristin

Kristin fabricated most of her enchanted winter forest wedding, which the guest brides saw right off the bat. Kristin was very emotional during the ceremony, and she brought a couple of the guest brides to tears. They loved her dress and her handmade headpiece. During the cocktail hour, they notice every little piece of decor that Kristin made, which they were quite impressed by. Cocktail hour had a wide range of food, including a Brazilian station. One of the passed hors d'oeuvres had a lot of garlic.

The reception room impressed Jena, but not Anastasia, who had been expecting more DIY decor like in cocktail hour. The room was so packed that the guest brides didn't get a good view of Kristin and her new husband entering the reception. They also weren't impressed with dinner. Amber wasn't a fan of the DJ's song selection, as it bounced back and forth between 80's music and early 2000's music. She also wasn't a fan of Kristin's handmade coat.

Overall Experience Scores:

  • Anastasia: 8
  • Jena: 8
  • Amber: 8
  • TOTAL: 24

    Third Wedding: Amber

Right away, the guest brides were very impressed with the decor in Amber's ceremony, although Kristin wished the lights had been a little brighter. Amber and her groom shared their own written vows, which Anastasia loved. Cocktail hour was full of food, so many stations, so many options. Kristin liked it, being Italian and all. There was a full roasted pig at cocktail hour, which Anastasia wouldn't touch. Unfortunately, there was nowhere for the guest brides to sit.

Instead of table numbers, Amber named the tables at the reception after historical married couples, which made it a little tough for the guest brides to find their table. Dinner was sit-down and multi-course, and the brides really liked the food. Amber had a band instead of a DJ, and the band was very interactive with the guests, which the brides appreciated.

Overall Experience Scores:

  • Jena: 7
  • Anastasia: 9
  • Kristin: 9
  • TOTAL: 25

    Fourth Wedding: Anastasia

For Anastasia's Greek wedding in Brooklyn, each guest had a program so they could follow along. Luckily for the guest brides, the ceremony was entirely in English, which helped them follow along. Jena loved how Anastasia and her groom kept exchanging cute glances with each other during the ceremony. The Greek customs did confuse Kristin, especially when they kissed all of a sudden and were married. The guest brides really liked Anastasia's dress, with Kristin especially liking the detailed straps.

The cocktail hour and reception were held an hour away in Long Island. Kristin didn't think much of the venue until they all went inside and saw the decor. Like with Amber's cocktail hour, there was food everywhere, but Jena was expecting more Greek food during cocktail hour. At the reception, Jena and Amber loved the attention to detail in the decor. Anastasia and her new husband came out to a light show with a fog machine, which Kristin didn't feel matched the venue. They found dinner just okay, not as good as cocktail hour. They also took pictures in the photo booth, and later took part in the Greek dancing.
