Recap / Fighting Foodons E 2 Pie Tin Power

Go To

The Glutton Gormandizers begin invading more and more cities, conquering them in the name of the Glutton Empire to appease King Gorge. Using their most powerful Foodons, many people fell before their might, helpless to fight back. Who will put an end to this culinary criminal's reign of terror? Who will bring down the "Kingdom of Gorge"?

Within one of the captured city's burning ruins, Pie-Tin, a five year old boy, calls out in desperation for his mother and father, who are captured by Gluttons. He's silenced by Chef Jack, who refuses to have Pie Tin be captured as well, and tells him that his parents will be free when the time is right. Pie Tin ignores Chef Jack's warnings, and begins to look for the Gluttons himself to rescue his parents. Clawdia overhears Pie Tin's woes and uses his distraught state to her advantage, feigning injury and framing Chase and Kayla as Gluttons for Pie Tin to battle in her place.

Meanwhile, Chase, Kayla and Oslo have set up the MAC Cart in town to make some business, with Chase's skill in cooking slowly improving. Pie Tin quickly appears and tries to get some information out of Chase and Kayla, but is quickly sidetracked by his own appetite. Pie Tin gets on track and tries to pay off his food by cleaning their dishes, thereby gaining information on where his parents are held. When this fails, Pie Tin breaks the facade and battles Chase, summoning Sir Dumpling to do battle. Confused, Chase accepts the battle and brings out Fried Ricer, while Clawdia watches from afar.

Fried Ricer and Sir Dumpling fight, but thanks to a Power Topping, Sir Dumpling wins the fight. Clawdia summons Boulder Broth to finish what Pie Tin began, saying she has no further use for the boy. Pie Tin realizes that Clawdia is the enemy, not Chase. Using Power Toppings to their advantage, Fried Ricer and Sir Dumpling take Boulder Broth down. Clawdia swears revenge, and Pie Tin decides to join Chase's group in the hope of rescuing his parents.
