Alicia faces off with Strand at the Tower, but there is more than they bargained for when a horde approaches.
- Black-and-White Insanity: Wes’s primary motivation is honesty. He hates his former friends for lying to achieve a higher goal, and loses faith in Strand, who he thought owned up to what he did, for deciding to make a deal with Alicia.
- The Bus Came Back: Jacob returns for the first time since the Season 6 finale with no mention of where he’s been.
- Character Death: Strand executes Wes once his guard is down.
- Hypocrite: For all his crowing about how Strand doesn’t have the guts to defend what he’s built, Wes clearly can’t bring himself to kill him and Alicia himself and also refuses to order their execution for too long.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Twofold at the end. Strand decides to stop and rant that Alicia won’t forgive him even though they’re already on the same side again and are about to get everything they wanted. For this, Alicia decides she can’t forgive Strand for killing Wes and attacks him for it when Strand stops to rant at her. It results in the gas fire that now threatens the entire building.
