Flashback: We see the events on how the hotel came into its current state.
I Did What I Had to Do: Elena, the hotel manager, defended her decision to lock in the wedding party after the bride's father dies and reanimates. The other surviving hotel guests were not happy with her.
Sanity Slippage: While Chris appears to be better in this episode due to his father accompanying him, this trope comes by the episode's end. When a farmer holds him, his dad and Brandon's group at gunpoint, Chris is the one to shoot and kill the farmer.
