Sarah's Mermaid Adventure is an episode of Everyday Craziness in Pontypandy.
Sarah discovers that she has the magic of the Mermaid Girls, and together with her friends, they transform and rescue the fire service from the evil Count Slither.

- All Just a Dream: The story ends with Sarah waking up back in her bed, the whole story having been a dream she had after reading the Mermaid Girls books before bed.
- Badass in Distress: The four core firefighters, as well as Jodie, get kidnapped by Count Slither and held prisoner in his lair until the Mermaid Girls come to rescue them.
- Bare Midriffs Are Feminine: Inverted; in their beach gear, it's the tomboyish Gabby wearing a midriff-revealing top, while the more feminine Svetlana wears a one-piece suit.
- Color-Coded Characters: Sarah/Mermaid Anemone is pink, Mandy/Mermaid Flora is green, Hannah/Mermaid Shimmer is purple, Gabby/Mermaid Coral is orange, and Svetlana/Mermaid Sissonne is blue.
- Expository Hairstyle Change: When Gabby transforms into Mermaid Coral, her Tomboyish Ponytail falls out into long beach waves.
