• Absurd Phobia: Julius is scared of.. rabbits. The cause of this is his viewing of Night of the Lepus when he was younger. Understandably, he never mentioned this to anyone until it was too late.
• All for Nothing: Chris tries to deck himself out in the finest DJ gear and after scratching his mother's prized The Payback vinyl, tries to buy an identical copy to replace it. He doesn't play at the gig but does manage to buy a replacement record. That is, until he finds out that the new record is also scratched.
• Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Drew begs Julius to bring him to a magic show, where the magician does the classic "rabbit in the hat" routine. Drew encourages his father to volunteer, and it causes Julius to faint in shock.
