Faced with an even bigger threat than the Banzai Blasters, Molly must team up with their leader, Giovanni, if she wants to stand a fighting chance of escaping the museum. But there may be even more nightmarish foes lurking in the darkened halls…
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- Big Brother Instinct: Once Giovanni learns about Molly's homelife, he immediately becomes intensely protective of her. He encourages her to stand up for herself, gives her a weapon to defend herself with, and jumps through fire to get her to safety.
- Blatant Lies: Giovanni and Molly's claim that there are "ten-hundred" minions still in the museum. It probably would have failed if it was anyone aside from Indus.
- Companion Cube: Sgt. Bear and Corporal Other Bear are adopted by Giovanni and Molly as protectors of "Fort Coolguy", despite being bear replicas. Sylvie laters turns the bears against Giovanni and Molly with Nightmare Fuel.
- Cooldown Hug: Giovanni gives one to Molly once he gets her out of the fire.
- Death by a Thousand Cuts: How Sylvie's ability "Counting Sheep" works. Each sheep only does about one point of damage, but there's enough of them to make them a formidable threat.
- A Friend in Need: When Molly is reduced to a Heroic BSoD after Sylvie uses Nightmare Fuel on her, Giovanni sprints through fire to get her to safety.
- Friendship Moment: One between Giovanni and Molly after they've established their base.
- Giovanni: C'mon, Bear Trap. Sewing time is bonding time. That's why they call it close-knit.
- Heroic BSoD: Molly goes into one when Sylvie's "Nightmare Fuel" ability traps her in fire.
- Hypocritical Heartwarming: When Sylvie's ability "Nightmare Fuel" (not to be confused with the trope
Nightmare Fuel) activates Molly's pyrophobia.- Giovanni: Hmph! I think I've had just about enough of you, guy! You made my minion cry! NOBODY makes my minions cry except for ME!
- Just a Kid: Something pointed out to Dr. Sylvester, much to his chagrin.Sylvie: I'm not a kid!
- Let's Get Dangerous!: Molly falling into a Heroic BSoD has Giovanni take things more seriously with Sylvie.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Giovanni is usually a bombastic Large Ham, but his voice dips low when he realizes how much Sylvie's "Nightmare Fuel" ability has traumatized Molly showing that he means business.
- Textile Work Is Feminine: Played straight with Molly, who's taken up sewing in order to repair the things her sister breaks around the house. Subverted with Giovanni, who knits as a hobby and even bonds with Molly over it.
- Trauma Button: Sylvie accidentally triggers Molly's pyrophobia after using his ability Nightmare Fuel, sending her into a panic attack.
