An adaptation of the 1980s cartoon show episode "Smurfette Unmade", in which Smurfette tells her daughter how Gargamel had changed her back to her old "un-Smurfy" self.


This story provides examples of:

  • Big "SHUT UP!": Smurfette yells "QUIET!" to get the other Smurfs to quiet down when they start bugging her about when the rehearsals for the play are about to start.
  • Death by Adaptation: Smurfette dies by turning back into blue clay in this adaptation. However, she is soon restored to life.
  • Diegetic Soundtrack Usage: Smurfette in her "un-Smurfy self" taunts Gargamel in her rebellion against him by having him sing the Smurf song along with her while she is throwing explosive formulas at his feet.
  • Disney Death: Smurfette dies by turning back into blue clay after she rebels against Gargamel to save her fellow Smurfs. However, she is soon restored to life by turning back into her new Smurfy self.
  • Heel Realization: Smurfette in her evil self has this realization after she successfully helped Gargamel enter the Smurf Village through a teleportation spell.
  • Explosive Cigar: Jokey gives one to Brainy in this adaptation.
  • Mama Bear: Gargamel threatening to use Baby Smurf as a test subject for his gold-making formula sets off this instinct in Smurfette to protect the child, causing her to rebel against her master.
  • Naked on Revival: Smurfette is restored to her normal self at the end, though in the process she appears naked unto her fellow Smurfs, leading to a mild Naked Freakout.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Gargamel threatens to use Baby Smurf as a test subject for his gold-making formula, which sets off Smurfette's Heel–Face Turn and restoration of her Smurfy self.
