A young girl is kidnapped, and Sherlock and Watson employ the help of an unlikely ally — Moriarty herself.

- Big Bad Wannabe: Devon Gaspar really wants to be the new Moriarty and puts together a complex kidnapping plot to establish his new position.
- Dragon Ascendant: Gaspar attempts to take over the organisation now Moriarty's in prison. He proves to be pretty inadequate at the job as she and Holmes foil his plan within days.
- Luxury Prison Suite: Agent Mattoo claims that Moriarty isn't being kept in luxury, but her room is still much larger and more spacious than a regular prison cell would have been.
