Fraser tries to protect Ray when he is jailed for contempt of court and sent to the same prison as the accused murderer he is trying to convict.

- Because You Were Nice to Me: In the climax, the murderer attempts to kill Ray and Fraser in the jail's bathroom, but is instead given a Neck Lift by the largest prisoner there because the big guy respected Fraser's politeness.
- Smug Smiler: At the end of the episode, Ray is called to apologize to the judge for his earlier behavior, before smugly adding that he was right on all accounts and has been completely exonerated while the murderer is interned.
