Go To

Tubbo, Quackity, and Fundy form the Butcher Army to take down threats to L'Manberg, most notably, Technoblade and Dream. As they believed Dream was a ally of L'Manberg, they decide to target Techno.

They meet up with Ranboo, who they decide to recruit into the army. The Butchers spoke about how nobody knew the location of Techno, but Tubbo said he suspected Phil might know.

The Butchers ring on Phil's door, and they demand Philza release any information on Techno's whereabouts. Phil refuses, saying he had no loyalties to L'Manberg and that no matter what he would not rat out Techno. The Butchers then search through Phil's stuff, ransacking his house in the process.

Tubbo finds Phil's lodestone compass given to him by Techno. The Butchers then place Phil under house arrest and gives him a ankle monitor, Phil then warns Techno that the Butchers found the compass.

Techno hastily begins gathering materials, only to find Ghostbur at his doorstep. Techno tries to get Ghostbur to leave, with Ghostbur becoming enamored by a blue sheep. Techno gives Ghostbur a lead and tells him to go leave with the sheep, as The Butchers make way to Techno's cabin.

Meanwhile Philza manages to take off his ankle monitor, and uses a creeper head to escape house arrest.

The Butchers arrive in the arctic and meet Ghostbur, Ghostbur tells the Butchers about how the beach party had been rescheduled and Dream having sent him away from Logstedshire. The Butchers convince Ghostbur they won't harm Techno and Ghostbur goes to get Techno. Phil hides in the forest to prevent being seen.

Techno meets the Butchers outside his doorstep, saying that he changed and requesting them to leave to prevent any violence. Techno tries to flee, and Ranboo asks for a peaceful resolution, but the others Butchers draw their axes. Ghostbur and Phil looks on from a distance.

Techno is forced to fight the Butchers, managing to defeat Fundy and Tubbo. Quackity then intervened, disarming and threatening Techno's prized horse, Carl, saying unless Techno cooperates Carl will be killed. Phil flees back before L'Manberg spots him. Techno drops his stuff, with the Butchers exchanging Techno's lead for a nametag for Ghostbur's sheep, friend, Techno secretly keeps some golden apples and carrots as well as a totem of undying in his inventory. Ghostbur joins the group as they make their way back to L'Manberg.

The Butchers takes Techno to L'Manberg, with Techno enraged at Phil's house arrest, before being placed in a cage. The Butchers then state they would not be holding a trial, and would be executing Techno instead. They plan to execute Techno via a anvil connected to a large platform.

Tubbo gives a speech, but Punz attacks them, who tries to place TNT in the execution area. To prevent Techno from escaping, Tubbo orders for Quackity to pull the lever, as Ghostbur names his pet sheep friend.

Techno is killed, but is revived by a totem of undying. Techno breaks out, finding Dream having saved Carl. Phil cheers on, as the Butchers yell in shock and confusion. Quackity pursues Technoblade.

Dream helps Techno flee via the L'Manberg sewers, saving Carl and placing iron armor inside of the Final Control Room. Dream flees, as Techno thanks him, before Quackity arrives. Technoblade tells Quackity a speech he was going to give at the trial, and Quackity tells him that he was a threat to L'Manberg's power and security.

Techno and Quackity then fight inside of the Final Control Room, with Quackity saying how much damage Techno has done to L'Manberg, Techno wins the fight, placing a pickaxe inside of Quackity's teeth and scarring his left eye, dealing Quackity's first cannon death as Techno flees back home.

Tubbo angrily shoots at Phil, dealing some damage, as Ranboo tries to convince him not to. Tubbo, Fundy, and Ranboo meet with Ghostbur as Quackity is killed and respawns. Quackity leads the other Butchers back into the headquaters. Quackity then tells the Butchers about how Dream saved Techno, with the other Butcher's siding with Quackity with Tubbo arguing that Dream was a ally of L'Manberg, Quackity manages to convince Tubbo that Dream was a enemy of L'Manberg.

Techno returns to his cabin, only to find Tommy, who had fled Logstedshire yesterday and now lived underneath Techno's cabin. Techno then offers a partnership with Tommy, saying if Tommy helped him commit minor terrorism on L'Manberg, Techno would help him get his discs back. Although he at first refused, realizing that he couldn't get the discs back alone, and under the impression Tubbo hated him, accepted. Techno then showed Tommy his wither vault, something he had showed nobody else at the time.

The Butchers continue planning, with Tubbo saying unlike with Techno they couldn't simply attack him, and they needed to be smarter about it. Tubbo then decided to host a festival, modeled after the Manberg Festival and Tubbo's execution to execute Dream. The festival, known as the Green Festival, would celebrate L'Manberg and the Greater SMP's alliance, and that Quackity would execute Dream while he was giving a speech using a axe.

Ghostbur takes down the execution machine, and asks for Ranboo to let Philza leave house arrest, but Ranboo replies that he can't, stating that the matter must be resolved legally. Ranboo also says that he is only loyal to the people that have helped him and isn’t aligned with any particular country.

Tubbo, no longer bending to Dream, decides to visit Tommy in Logstedshire, only to find it destroyed and a large tower in the sky, Tubbo connects the dots and finds that Tommy had killed himself, ending the stream out of greif.

Meanwhile Techno gave Tommy a new "Cat" disc, saying it would be a start of a new partnership.

Ranboo tries to help Ghostbur transport his blue sheep, friend via boat. However, it dies when they try to get it through Tubbo's docks.

Ranboo and Ghostbur depart L'Manberg and made their way to the arctic, with Phil sneaking out of house arrest to check on Techno, He arrives before Ranboo and Ghostbur, and is relived to find Techno and Tommy safe. He returns to L'Manberg before taking down some wanted posters for Technoblade.

Ranboo and Ghostbur arrive at the Arctic, and Ranboo gives Techno back his helmet. Tommy accuses him of giving a pickaxe out of pity, and Ranboo explains that he was giving Tommy things due to debt, not pity. Ranboo explains that he wrote a letter to Tommy recently and that someone took it, Ranboo continues to give more pieces of Techno's armor back in order to survive, eventually giving away the entire set of armor.

Ghostbur explains to Tommy that Dream told him that the party was rescheduled and that Logstedshire was blown up. Tommy partially denies Dream being a bad guy. Ghostbur also mentions that he got a letter from the L'Manberg City Council evicting him from his sewer home, leading him to become homeless and run off into the wilderness, finding Techno. Ranboo defends Tubbo by saying that it was never mentioned in any cabinet meeting.

Tommy forces Ghostbur to live in his room, but Techno tells Ghostbur that he's allowed to live next to Techno in a separate house. Tommy tells Ghostbur he's still confused with the whole Dream dilemma, but waves the problem away.

Techno, Tommy, and Ranboo bond while gathering materials and making a to-do-list. They sit on a bench and stargaze, listening to Tommy's disc, Blocks.

Ranboo expresses his feelings of not fitting in L'Manberg. He feels that they are becoming corrupt and are using him. Techno, who was a veteran of this matter, tells Ranboo that the same thing happened to him exactly a month ago. The line was powerful, as Ranboo began to ponder if L'Manberg really was the great and peaceful nation Tubbo claimed it was. Techno also tells Ranboo that his alliance with Tommy is only temporary.

Ranboo continues to write in his book, detailing events that he can still remember. He visits Logstedshire, and like Tubbo, finds it completely destroyed. As Ranboo thinks of a cover for him returning all of Techno's armor, he takes down a Butcher Army poster and turns the base of the execution chamber into a monument.

Following the events of the execution, the server enters the Vengeance Era.
