Alex's curiosity finally gets the better of her, and she starts investigating why Tom keeps leaving I.C.A.R.U.S. perimeter.
Tropes:
- Delayed Reaction: Alex first encounters the dragons when she turns around to see all three looking at her curiously. She turns right back around and walks away... then she starts screaming and running.
- Fear of Thunder: Thunder gets agitated when a lightning storm happens over the fissure, though he goes up to investigate instead of cowering from it.
- The Un-Smile: Thunder tries to smile reassuringly at Alex, but forgets to retract his teeth.
- Visible Invisibility: Feathers is often shown as translucent so the viewer can see her, though the characters can't.
- Women Are Wiser: Tom and D'Angelo try catching Feathers when they realize she's in Alex's house. Jun watches them trip over everything while trying to pin down an invisible dragon, and tells them off for scaring it.
