Ord is depressed when his favorite blanket disappears down the Lost Forever Hole, and he gets a "big funky cloud" following him perpetually. It's up to the others to make him happy again so the cloud can go away.
"Big Funky Cloud" contains examples of:
- Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Anything that flows down the Lost Forever Hole is lost forever. Gone, finito, kaput, no hope of recovery.
- Heroic BSoD: The titular cloud is supposed to be an embodiment of Ord's sadness of losing his favorite blanket forever. Thankfully, it goes away by the end of the episode.
- Personal Raincloud: The Big Funky Cloud perpetually follows a dragon when they're upset enough, and only disappears if they feel something other than sad.
Emmy is annoyed at Max doing whatever he wants and wishes he could do things her way. Her wish comes true when the gang encounters Meow the Copy Cat, who cause Max to start acting just like Emmy, and they must find the cat again to get him back to normal.
"Copy Cat" contains examples of:
- A Head at Each End: Me-Ow the Copy Cat has a head at either end of her.
- Be Careful What You Wish For: Emmy's wish for Max to act more like her summons the CopyCat, Me-Ow, whose licks cause Max to mimic Emmy's personality and idolize her. She finds his acting this way to be extremely annoying and immediately comes to regret wishing for it.
- Wanting Is Better Than Having: Emmy realizes this soon enough after the Copy Cat makes Max act like her and do everything she does (right down to saying her "Definitely!" catchphrase), and wishes he were himself again.
