Eggs over easy:

Internal Reveal: Cassie (and the audience) had their suspicion that Cyrus was not to be trusted. When Ord stumbles upon a nest full of the very type of egg they gave Cyrus, one of them hatches to reveal a Rhyma-bird instead of a serpent, tipping off the gang that Cyrus tricked them into giving them some other innocent creature's egg.
- Laser-Guided Karma: For tricking them into giving them the Rhyma-bird egg, Cassie in turn tricks Cyrus into claiming the decoy egg they left out to track him down. For his troubles, Cyrus finds the baseball-sized decoy egg stuck in his jaw.
- Obviously Evil: Let's see, shady appearance, hissing raspy voice, shifty personality, it's clear to see Cyrus the Serpent isn't the most trustworthy character on the show. Nonetheless, our heroes (sans Cassie) see no harm in returning "his" egg to him.
- Vile Villain, Saccharine Show: Cyrus is surprisingly unpleasant-looking for being in a show as saccharine as "Dragon Tales". Although he has his silly moments, the implication that he's an ovivore is a bit unsettling.
A Liking to Biking:
- Expressive Accessory: The ladybug Ord uses for his bike helmet changes its expressions to match how Ord is feeling at the moment.
- Forgot About His Powers: Ord's bicycling lessons eventually lead him to hanging for dear life over a cliff and panicking that he'll fall. ...this moment quickly loses its suspense when Cassie has to remind him he's a dragon and can therefore fly out of the danger. As he flies off, Ord is embarrassed to admit he had momentarily forgotten he could do that.
