Revealing conflicting goals, Senku and Tsukasa begin clashing. At a significant power disadvantage, Senku and his friends escape to Hakone to create a weapon of science.

- Well-Intentioned Extremist: Tsukasa wants to only revive the youth, or the pure-hearted people, after suffering from the wrath of adults in his childhood.
- Worthy Opponent: Tsukasa genuinely shows his displeasure in killing Senku and promises him it will be quick.
