- Killed Off for Real: To symbolize Paladin Taim's permanent departure from the show, his zombie self is unceremoniously shot dead in the first minute of this update video. He's immediately replaced by Katy Johnson's zombie, who Crafty describes as an objectively better writer than her predecessor.

- Art Shift: Much like how her spin-off segment's theme music was written by a different person from the rest, Crystelle's Questionable Qloset intro is animated by a a different person than Blue-Paint-Sea. Rather than be a Motion Comic, this intro is a full-blown animation, which uses tons of abstract patterns to represent Crystelle's psychic abilities.
