Cowpokes Dora and Boots ride on Pinto the pony to deliver a batch of special cowboy cookies to their bovine buddy Benny, all the while keeping a lookout for Swiper, who wants those cookies really badly.
Tropes:
- All Deserts Have Cacti: Swiper even passes himself off as one during his first unsuccessful attempt to take the cowboy cookies from Dora and Boots.
- Cowboy Episode: Unlike most episodes of the series which take place in an unspecified South American rainforest, this one is set in a Western desert with all of the characters taking the roles of such characters you would expect to see from a Western. They even use words such as "Yee-haw!", "howdy" and "cowpokes". Though for some reason, the area containing Benny's barn has grass and trees.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: After spending the entire episode failing to swipe the cowboy cookies, Swiper is eventually given the last remaining one by Benny, much to his delight.
- Off-into-the-Distance Ending: Not counting the "We Did It!" song, the episode ends with Swiper happily running off into the sunset after finally receiving and eating a cowboy cookie, all the while crying out "Yip-yip-yippee!".
- Meaningful Echo: Swiper's first attempt to swipe the cowboy cookies involves him disguising as a cactus. The cowboy cookie he eventually receives at the end is shaped like a cactus, and fittingly enough, he emerges behind a cactus near Benny's barn when Dora and the others call for him.
- Rule of Three: Not counting the amount of times "Swiper, no swiping!" needs to be said in order to deter him, Swiper pops up thrice during the episode and is stopped each time. The first time is when Dora and Boots are heading to Isa's gold mine, the second is when they are on their way to Rattlesnake Rocks, and the final time is when they make it to Benny's barn.
- Sympathy for the Devil: After he and his friends have eaten all but one of the cowboy cookies, Benny shows some sympathy for Swiper, who had spent the entire episode unsuccessfully trying to pilfer them, and calls him over to let him have the last cookie.
