- Out of Order: On the Legend of the Crystal Coconut VHS, this is the fourth and final episode on the tape, with DK narrating that this occurs after Ape-nesia, even though one of the flashbacks from that episode originated here.
- Quiet Cry for Help: When DK and Diddy try to return the Crystal Coconut to Cranky's cabin, Cranky tries to warn them that Skurvy is inside waiting to take it from them by telling them they shouldn't come in. Unfortunately, they don't get the hint until it's too late.
