• Church Of Evil: The Church of the Glorious Dead.
• Cosmic Keystone: The Glory, the focal point of the Omniverse.
• Earth All Along: Dhakan.
• Evil Counterpart: Of course the Master to the Doctor and Sato to Kroton.
• Guardian of the Omniverse: Turns out to be a temporary position held by the Controller of the Glory. However Esterath's time is drawing to a close. The Master and the Doctor seem to be the competitors for this and battle. Ultimately it turns out Katsura and Kroton were the true competitors. Kroton takes the position.
• Immortality Immorality: Sato Katsura.
• Mercy Kill: Kroton performs one on Katsura when he takes the Glory. Katsura is happy at this.
• Undying Warrior: After the Japanese samurai Sato Katsura was rendered ageless and undying against his wishes, he became an undefeatable pirate until he allowed the Spanish Inquisition to capture him out of weariness or boredom. Once he came out of his fifty-year BSoD, under the Master's design, he waged a global holy war and eventually went intergalactic with it.
• Sinister Minister: Cardinal Morningstar Sato Katsura.
• Who Wants to Live Forever?: Sato Katsura. As a samurai what he most desired was an honourable death so immortality is dishonourable for him.
