It Amused Me: When Rosa points out that she doesn't think that a challenge consisting on people admiting embarrassing secrets is funny, Krystal admits that for her, it definetely is.
Shout-Out: This episode is a homage to the Total Drama episode "Truth or Laser Shark", from the Revenge of the Island season, also featuring a challenge where the contestants have to admit that embarrassing secrets belong to them in order to get points for their team. The teams are also submerged for refusing to admit a secret, and it's even heavily implied the seats used for the challenge are the same ones used in Total Drama. Like in the Total Drama episode, the teams also try to sabotage the challenge when they feel that it is getting out of hand.
Virgin-Shaming: Yul calls Aiden and Lake "virgins" when it's revealed that they actually had their first kiss during the previous episode's challenge (with James and Ally, respectively).
