- Bait-and-Switch:
- In the final stretch of the go-kart race, Fiore hits her kart's engine, causing it to explode and gain massive speed, surpassing Miriam. It looks like for a moment Fiore is going to win because of this, but instead of crossing the finish line first, she ends up crashing into a tree, allowing Miriam to win.
- Jensen steals Miriam's money and crashes the bus when he's being chased by Tom. When Tom gets back to camp, he tells Miriam that he wasn't able to recover her money... but right after he reveals that he was just joking and gives the million dollars back to her.
- Book Ends: The Purple Team won the first challenge after Fiore's replaced her team's flag with a fake one and Tom grabbed the wrong one. In this episode, Tom helps Miriam win by switching the go-karts flags after witnessing Grett tampering with one of them.
- Dick Dastardly Stops to Cheat: Fiore's chances of winning would probably have been higher had she played fair and square and stopped Grett from tampering with the go-karts, as she already had an advantage after finding her gas canister before Miriam.
- Earn Your Happy Ending:
- It's revealed that, during their time at the hotel after being eliminated, Ashley and Will started a relationship.
- After being fired midway through the season, Tom is hired to work as a police officer after helping the police uncover Jensen, Derek and Trevor's crimes.
- Framing Device: The final scene reveals that the entire season was the "unreleased footage" Kristal found at the end of Season 2, and she was watching it with Oliver.
- Graceful Loser: Downplayed with Ellie. When Miriam crosses the finish line, she is still annoyed at her loss, but when Derek and Trevor give the prize money to Miriam, she is shown smiling.
- Hated by All: After everything she has done, Fiore's only supporter is Grett (and only because she was forced to do so), and after she crashes her go-kart, no one even tries to help her.Alec (to Fiore): Help yourself! You are good at it, aren't you?
- Hollywood Heart Attack: Exploited. When it seems that she will be last in the race to be one of the final two, Miriam pretends to have a heart attack, which makes Ellie stop to try to help her... then Miriam grabs Ellie's shovel and throws it away, delaying Ellie enough for Miriam to make it to the finish line.
- Maybe Ever After: Tom and Jake are able to patch things up, but agree that they should take some time and grow as people before giving their relationship another try.
- Sore Loser: FIORE. After losing against Miriam in the go-kart race, she throws a tantrum in the confessional, wishing for the deaths of all her fellow contestants, and is still sulking when Derek and Trevor give the prize money to Miriam.
- Post-Climax Confrontation: After Miriam wins the final challenge and is declared the winner of Disventure Camp, the police arrive to arrest Derek, Trevor, and Jensen for their crimes. But Jensen escapes and steals Miriam's prize money, leading to Tom chasing after him and confronting him on the Bus of Losers. Jensen ends up accidentally driving the bus off a cliff and his body is never found, but Tom jumps off in time and manages to get Miriam her prize money back.
- Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Miriam pretend to suddenly have a heart attack and collapses during the challenge, and when Ellie checks on her instead of finishing, Miriam grabs her shovel and tosses it away, allowing her to cross the finish line before her and securing her spot in the Final 2.
