Tar is beginning to leak up from cracks created on routes the Dinotrux travel on frequently. Ty thinks perhaps the migrating Rollodons can help out with the task, but they are an uncontrollable force and Revvit is less than excited to work with them.
- Continuity Nod: Ton-Ton has stated before that he likes to run with the Rollodons. Here we get to see him doing just that.
- Eek, a Mouse!!: It eventually turns out that the Rollodons are actually scared of Reptools and go out of their way to avoid them, giving the Trux a reliable way to herd them where they want them to go.
- Foreshadowing: While the plan was just to seal a tar leak by having Rollodons crush rocks into the cracks, the process inadvertently creates a paved surface. This process will eventually be repeated to deliberately create a road.
- Pokémon Speak: The Rollodons' simple jaw structure allows them to say only one word. Guess what it is.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Revvit is extremely scared of Rollodons due to having almost being run over by a stampede of them when he was younger.
