On the second Halloween night of this series, a Witchmon is going around turning humans in witch costumes into actual witches and those who aren't into rats eaten by cat familiars. In the meantime, the children and their Digimon prepare for the annual Halloween party, but their plans are put into the back-burner when Witchmon runs into Ruli's friend Shiori in a witch costume and turns her into a witch, then the brainwashed Shiori turns Aoi into one as well. With the city being emptied by Witchmon and her lackey's rampage, the children and their Digimon find themselves in the midst of Witchmon's grand scheme.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Unlike other Mook Maker Digimon, Witchmon turns specific victims into literal witches by casting a spell that stuffs eyeballs into their mouth. Their appearance doesn't change bar having Icy Blue Eyes and Undeathly Pallor and they do seemingly recognize people close to them (as shown when both Aoi and Shiori recognize Ruli when brainwashed), but they're hard-wired to be devoted to Witchmon's cause and can use her attacks.
- Continuity Nod: Kiyoshiro shows up to the Halloween Party with the wizard outfit he wears when investigating Petermon.
- Halloween Episode: The second one in this series. It aired a day before Halloween in real life, though.
- Hour of Power: Witchmon's magic becomes far stronger on Halloween, but she loses this power by midnight when Halloween ends.
- Lighter and Softer: Witchmon's incident is definitely on an openly destructive scope, but whatever she did it was way less gruesome than the Digimon before her who regularly induce grating levels of Body Horror, torture humans or Digimon in graphic fashion or even attempt to kill them on-spot.
