Norma is having a tough first day back home after quitting the park: she is still trying to get over Badyah, debating whether to come out to her mom, realizing how much of her life she devoted to her one-time idol Pauline, and dealing with a bunch of possessed dolls.

- Everyone Can See It: After dealing with Pauline, Mrs. Khan easily guesses that Norma was crushing on Badyah.
- Foreshadowing: When Logs appears in the episode, he is crying about something, and also talks about how dangerous falling chandeleirs are. The next episode reveals why.
- I Have This Friend: While confiding with Logs, Norma tells him about her "secret crush", and how things went between them, he can easily tell that her crush was Badyah.
- Misdirected Outburst: Norma's argument with her mother about all the Pauline memorabilia around the house at the start of the episode is clearly more about her feelings of rejection from Badyah, her insecurity in not being able to come out, and possibly even her lingering self-loathing for idolizing Pauline her entire life.
- Visual Pun: Logs and Norma are both hiding in a literal closet (from Pauline), but they both eventually step out of it.
