In her intense quest to befriend Pam Isley, Jessica joins a protest effort to save the oldest tree still standing in Metropolis from being bulldozed.
Tropes:
- Determinator: As usual Jessica never gives up, even though the withdrawn Pam clearly does not like the energetic, outgoing Jessica, just because they're both environmental activists.
- Green Aesop: If we keep destroying the environment, maybe we'll eventually destroy ourselves.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Green Lantern inadvertently destroys the tree they were trying to protect, and Poison Ivy vows revenge.
- Nobody Poops: Jessica can be seen harassing Pamela over her shoes, while they're both on their neighboring toilets in the girls' restroom.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: After the above, Poison Ivy calls her "unworthy of the color of life" and says that she will pay for what she did.
- Villain Has a Point: While Poison Ivy is definitely an eco-terrorist, destroying nature is ultimately a pretty bad thing.
