It’s the Halloween Haunt-O-Rama in R-Fair City, and Hacker has a wicked trick up his sleeve: to keep the kids out of Cyberspace forever by crashing Motherboard’s portal system. But when Buzz and Delete make a mistake, the portal system crashes too late, and the kids and Digit are trapped in R-Fair City! Now, the kids must find enough energy to power Digit’s portal rebooter and keep the amusement park going. But with the celebration in full swing, can they find big and small ways to save enough energy? And can they ever get back to Earth again?

Tropes in this episode:

  • Amusement Park: The Cybersquad spends every Halloween in R-Fair City at the Haunt-O-Rama.
  • And Call Him "George": When Buzz and Delete visit a Fortune Teller, who is Matt in disguise, Delete asks if there will be lots of bunnies named George in his future.
  • Green Aesop: This episode shows how important it is to conserve energy and teaches kids what they can do at home to help do their part.
  • Hairstyle Malfunction: While bobbing for apples, Hacker’s wig comes off in the water.
  • Halloween Costume Characterization: Jules’ vampire costume ends up being quite fitting considering all the electronics in his house are sucking so much power out of R-Fair City.
Digit: Jules you are a vampire…an energy vampire!
  • Halloween Episode
  • I Meant to Do That: Matt says this at the end of the episode when he trips on a pumpkin and drops the pumpkin pie he was carrying.
  • Power Outage Plot: After Buzz and Delete close the portal the Cybersquad came through, Digit tries to use his portal rebooter to open it back up. However, it ends up using too much power and shuts down all of R-Fair City. They then have to figure out how to conserve enough energy so that the rebooter can be used without shutting down the Haunt-O-Rama rides.
  • Pie in the Face: Matt gets one at the end of the episode when he trips on a pumpkin and the pie he was carrying flies up in the air before landing on his head.
  • Pumpkin Person: The appropriately named Pumpkin Patty.
  • Pun-Based Title: The episode’s title is a play on the phrase "lots of Halloween trouble,” in which "lots" is replaced with "watts” - a basic unit of power in electrical systems.
  • Rhymes on a Dime: While Digit is looking in his Bag of Holding compartment for the portal rebooter, he pulls out a boot, a zoot suit, and a lute.
  • Rousing Speech: Jackie gives one to Matt when he’s feeling down about the possibility of not being able to get back home before his family’s Halloween party.
Jackie: All for one and one for all!
  • Scooby-Dooby Doors: Matt and Inez do this with Buzz and Delete in the corn maze.
  • Status Quo Is God: Hacker is in an unusually good mood at the Haunt-O-Rama due to the Cybersquad (to his knowledge) having been stopped and it being his favorite holiday. However, once he realizes Digit and Buzz have failed yet again, he quickly goes back to his grouchy ways.
  • Watch Out for That Tree!: Buzz does a Vine Swing to steal the portal rebooter from Matt, but he ends up slamming into a wall afterwards and Matt is able to easily grab the rebooter from his hand.
