Here, the flow of Hilda's life split into two separate paths. One was when she was captured after leaving her mother's house and returning to Arzenal. The other was when she had an encounter that would change the course of her life forever.
- Adaptation Distillation: Since the story was based on the aftermath of episode 9, this chapter summarizes the setting and plot and recounts Ange's days in Arzenal.
- Bridal Carry: Rio carries Hilda after he saves her from her assault at the hands of the police.
- Downer Beginning: The story begins at the end of ep 9, with heartbreak and betrayal. Sylvia's message was a trap set by her and Julio so they could eliminate Ange once and for all the aberration that had been born into their family. Hilda attempts to reunite with her mother but discovers that she is replaced with another child and ends with the heartbreaking rejection she endured along with her assault at the hands of the Mana police.
- Establishing Character Moment: Near the end of this chapter, Rio goes to find Hilda as part of his mission, but by the time he sees her, she is beaten up by a group of Mana Police. So Rio shoots all the Mana cops and rescues Hilda.
- How We Got Here: It recounts how Ange discovers herself as a norma on her sixteenth birthday, is exiled to Arzenal, and is forced to fight for her survival against the Dragons. She even reunited with Momoka, who sought out her former mistress to continue her service. There was another Norma named Hilda. Like Ange, she too had been torn from her previous life, but the hope of one day escaping and reuniting with her mother gave her the strength to do whatever she had to to survive. It ends when Momoka receives a Mana message from Ange's younger sister Sylvia as her life is in danger, and Ange is determined to save her. Despite the bad blood, Ange and Hilda joined forces and escaped Arzenal together.
- I Have No Daughter!: Hilda remembered her mother's words. She wished that she had never given birth to the monster and told her to leave and never come back.
- Police Brutality: A group of police brutally beat up Hilda during her terrible reunion with her mother.
