The GBPD has put out an order of protection for Philosophy professor Kevin Charles after finding out the Original Ad Astra ordered him dead. The team find out they're too late when he is found tied between two trees and viciously whipped to death.Tropes:
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Kevin was whipped to death.
- Everybody Did It: For the first and only time in Criminal Case’s history, all of the suspects took part in the murder.
- Token Good Teammate: Well, it’s a stretch to describe Azeeb as “good”, considering that he took part in the murder, but he’s the one who tips off the police department to the other Ad Astrans’ participation in the murder. As a result, he only gets sentenced to 7 years in prison.
