Go To

Belinda: <player name>, I have good news! Walpurgis Night is being held at an abandoned castle here in Indiana... And I've located all of the missing children! Meet me here as soon as you can and I'll explain everything!

Walpurgis Night is now, and the hunters must hurry to find the missing children before they can be eaten. Luckily, Belinda, the witch met in the previous case messages them, and informs them that the children are in a castle in Indiana. Unfortunately, when the player and Chief Arrow arrive at the scene, they see no children, only Belinda, dead after being drowned in a nearby cauldron.

Tropes

  • A Day in the Limelight: Jacob takes over as partner for the case as Gwen's nightmares had gotten worse and Luke refuses to leave her side due to it.
  • Alliterative Name: With the reveal that Belinda was Morgana's sister, this makes her name Belinda Blackhawk.
  • Cain and Abel: Morgana is revealed to be Belinda's sister and had her killed when she threatened her plans.
  • Child Eater: Thankfully, the Hunters stop Morgana's plan on serving the kids for Walpurgis Night before anything bad happens to the children. So none of the witches of Morgana's coven become this.
  • Chromosome Casting: This is the only case in the season where the victim and the suspect are all female, and the second one in the franchise after "Good Girls Don't Die" in Grimsborough.
  • Gruesome Goat: Well, rather goat head. Pandora Geiss sports one after a spell gone wrong and she kept the look... Turns out, she's the kidnapper of the kids. She might've got her normal head back after losing her powers, though.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Heather is horrified to learn about the children and that she just helped Morgana achieve her goal.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Avery got kidnapped by the witches when she went looking for the kids herself, thankfully she gets rescued along with them.
  • Shout-Out:
    • One of the crime scenes is an enchanted room of candy, and there's an evil plan for the children put there to be eaten by the coven after some fattening up with sweets, does that sound familar?
    • Speaking of candy, there's a familiar pair of goggles in that room.
  • Unwitting Pawn: Heather is manipulated by Morgana into killing Belinda.
  • Wicked Witch: Morgana, as it turns out.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Morgana in spades. She even had Pandora snatch the kids in order to serve them on Walpurgis Night to give the coven more power, thankfully the plan's foiled and Morgana ended up losing her powers instead.
