Fed up with losing in video games to his father, Craig seeks training in the Creek.
Tropes:
- Curtain Camouflage: Craig hides David behind the curtains when Duane comes home, his helmet clearly silhouetted under it.
- A Day in the Limelight: David the Elder gets some spotlight away from the other Elders.
- Sequel Hook: The episodes ends with Jessica saying that she wants to play Power Punchers, and Bernard ominously assuring her that she will. This is followed through in the Jessica Short of the same name.
- Shout-Out:
- Duane yells "Predictable!" once when he sees Craig's move coming, just like Geese Howard from Fatal Fury.
- K.O. is one of the available playable characters on Power Punchers, under the name of Tiny Boxer. Rebecca Sugar' pre-Steven Universe comic creation Pug Davis also makes an appearance as one of the fighters (revealed in the Jessica Short to be named Puppercut in-game).
- Craig has a poster in his bedroom of a Mascot with Attitude called Slide the Ferret.
- Shown Their Work: David's training is remarkably accurate to how actual high-level fighting game players train, complete with discussions of frame data and highlighted hitboxes.
- Surpassed the Teacher: Duane is worried about Craig getting better at Power Punchers than him—not because he doesn't want to lose the game, but because he's afraid Craig will lose interest and stop playing like Bernard did. Craig assures him he won't do the same thing.
