Craig's phone gets stuck in Mt. Sycamore, the tallest tree in the creek!
Tropes:
- Camera Obscurer: After finally retrieving his phone, Craig finds out a leaf blocked its recording. Luckily, he's only a few feet from reaching the treetop and seeing in person.
- The Dreaded: The wasps are this to the trio. Justified as wasps are aggressive and territorial.
- MacGyvering:
- Craig makes an impromptu camera balloon by tying some helium balloon and a fishing line to a basket he places his camera phone on.
- The trio dry their hands while climbing by using ground up playground chalk in place of talc.
- Minor Injury Overreaction: J.P. gets stung on the finger by a wasp. The three all act like he's been killed.
- Stock Beehive: The wasps are shown living in one, which makes sense as wasp nests really do look like that (in fact, most beehives in cartoons are actually based after wasp nests).
- Sweetie Graffiti: Mt. Sycamore has some name carvings that were apparently left by kids to show how far they had climbed. The tree's so old, the writings go back as far as 1943.
- Tempting Fate: Craig thinks his family won't mind if he delayed getting his phone for a while. Turns out they had been texting him about how Dad came early and brought pizza; by the time Craig came home, the only thing left was soggy salad. Dad then rubs it in by showing how he always keeps his phone on a holster.
- Wicked Wasps: The trio come across a swarm of wasps and their hive on Mt. Sycamore. One of the wasps end up stinging J.P.
