Tropes:
- And Starring: "And Bert the Bird as Mortimor."
- Imagine Spotting: J.P. sees Craig's fantasy, and even complains about specific details, including the credits.
- Laugh Track: Bernard falling into the laundry has canned laughter, and cheering at Nicole's quip. Then it's revealed that Jessica had left the TV on.
- Popcultural Osmosis Failure: Part of the opening has the Wiliams dogpiling the door to block J.P. from opening it a la the Winslows to Urkel. J.P. doesn't get the reference, and seriously wonders if they hate him for some reason.
- Sitcom Homage Episode: Craig imagines the opening for a TV show about his family, which is for the most part a Whole-Plot Reference to Family Matters (to the point Jojo's shirt says "Family Matters").
