The Black Fang escapes, having failed to find what he was looking for in Hemoarloch, leaving Passione and everyone else to pick up the pieces of the mess he made. One such piece is the arrested Lockheart family, who Passione questions about their involvement with the Black Fang and the Greevolve. The family's eventual incarceration forces Calum to make some tough decisions that will affect the rest of his life.
