Numbuh 1 discovers an island paradise populated by kids. Numbuh 1 finds a perfect island, with lots of candy, fun, and no adults. However, thinking back it's obvious that something strange is happening and has to do with Chester's Happy Headband.

Now loading tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: Just as it seems that Chester avoided getting hit with his own Happy Headband and defeats Numbuh 1, it's revealed that Chester actually lost and was placed into a Lotus-Eater Machine of his own.
- Deranged Animation: When Nigel breaks free of the Happy Headband, the colors turn lurid and the animation warps into a Chester-based nightmare.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: Numbuh 4 is in the soda pool along with everyone else, despite it being established that he can't swim. A few moments later, Numbuh 1 catches on to this.
- Foreshadowing: Upon Numbuh 1 waking up, all the characters specifically pronounce agent names as "Number", adding the "-r" sound that KND names lack. Additionally, Numbuh 1 catches onto two hints that things weren't what they seemed. First, despite crash-landing earlier, he woke up without a scratch on him. Second, the girl who found him instantly knew his name, even though he never gave it.
- Lotus-Eater Machine: One that Chester was planning to sell to parents to keep their kids quiet and happy in their own dreamlands.
- Out-of-Character Alert: It’s after Numbuh 4 tells him to relax and have a swim with the rest of Sector V in the pool, that Numbuh 1 realizes something is wrong, because Numbuh 4 is in the pool with them.Numbuh 1: Wait a second... Numbuh 4 can’t swim!
- Spotting the Thread: Numbuh 1 finds his team swimming in the island's swimming pool and they all convince him to drop his suspicions and just have fun. Numbuh 1 was about to, until he remembers, as established in earlier episodes, Numbuh 4 can't swim. At that point, it's revealed that he's been trapped in a Lotus-Eater Machine.
- A Taste of Their Own Medicine: Numbuh 1 was forced into a Lotus-Eater Machine that turned into a nightmare by Chester. The ending has Chester placed in the same situation, seemingly beating Numbuh 1 before being applauded by all the adults. It is then revealed that Numbuh 1 placed the headband on him, and afterward, Numbuh 4 turns it into a nightmare.
