Aelita gets jealous of a new girl in the school; Laura, who rivals her in wits and smarts. The Lyoko Warriors test out a new vehicle in the Cortex.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Backseat Driver: Odd towards Yumi, getting jealous for not being picked to be able to drive the MMRASTCV.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Aelita exhibits this behaviour, and does not like Laura touching the super computer.
  • Continuity Nod: Jérémie says "I'll hail you a new taxi", which is a phrase similar to the one he said when materializing vehicles in the animated series.
  • Death Glare: Aelita gives one towards Odd when mocking Jérémie's brain. She also gives multiple towards Laura.

  • Love Triangle: Jérémie, Aelita and Laura, much to Aelita's annoyance.
  • Non-Indicative Name: The MMRASTCV is an all-terrain vehicle, which is supposedly intuitive, but Jérémie does point out that it isn't foolproof, and does need some inhibition to drive.
  • Overly Long Name: The "Mega Multipod Rolling Articulated, Spherical Tecto-compatible Cortexian Vehicle".
  • Pair the Smart Ones: Odd jokes about this to Jérémie and Aelita, when Laura shows interest in Jérémie, much to Aelita's frustration.
  • Secret Chaser: Laura wants to find out about the videogame Jérémie is working on, and gets more interested, when William acts rattled because of it.
  • Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: The new vehicle is called the "Mega Multipod Rolling Articulated, Spherical Tecto-compatible Cortexian Vehicle". Odd doespoint out the name is very long-winded.
  • Techno Babble: The equation Laura and Jérémie mutter to themselves, and later incorporated as part of the name of the bew vehicle that Jérémie made.
  • Understatement: Yumi falls down a shaft, and the MMRASTCV's pod is upside down. Jérémie says that his world has turned upside down after Yumi asks for a status report, to which Yumi says that her situation is a bit of an understatement.
